I began my illustration journey at a young age but a negative experience at university pursuing illustration left me feeling deflated and as though I didn’t quite have what it took. I dropped out after the foundation course and got a job at Mars Petcare. I was a dog handler and adored working with the animals but I always felt a pull back to my creative side. A severe hand accident in 2016 left me struggling to hold my usual pens and paintbrushes (not to mention handling the dogs anymore!) so I delved into the world of digital art and was amazed at how much more comfortable it was for my hand. I never looked back and I now create an entire world of whimsical woodland illustrations which I apply to gift and homewares for you to enjoy.

I’m a big advocate for not feeling the need to pursue higher education within the arts. With so many resources online and materials for learning, believe in yourself - anything is possible!
